The face of NorCal Team 2’s coin represents our team. Team 2 personnel represent many agencies and different disciplines responding to all risk incidents.

 

The back of the teams coin defines what we value. These values have not changed since the team establishment and are memorialized for the future.

 

Our most important resource is represented by the firefighter in the forefront. We prioritize and provide for the personnel in the field, taking care of their operational and personal needs.

 

Ordo ab Chao is Latin for “Order from Chaos” this motto defines what we accomplish when deployed.

 

Team 2 is a National resource as represented by our Nations symbol of the flag.

 

The solid star on the left memorializes the personnel that have made the ultimate sacrifice. The open star on the right reminds us of the personnel we must keep from harm.
